MiniEnterprize - The Alibaba Group
The case competition focused on Alibaba and how it could improve its brand equity while combating growing competition from Ping Duo Duo. Utilizing the SWOT and PESTE techniques, we conducted both internal and external analyses to identify advantages and weaknesses of Alibaba's business model. We futher proposed methods that Alibaba could take to expand its business both horizontally and vertically.
Tesla: How it Can Remain Competitive while Sustaining its Brand Value
As the president of the Richmond Secondary School Business Club, I shared our analysis on the case study Tesla: Testing a Business Model At Its (R)Evolutionary Best published by the Ivey School of Business in Western University. Our analysis was conducted on the circumstances that Tesla faced in 2017. In the presentation, I will discuss Tesla's production issues caused by its supply chain inefficiencies; Tesla's strenghts, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities; Tesla's competitive advantages and brand equity in devising recommandations for future development.
